Surprise roper attack in Kendall sinkhole Korvosa by MrVergee

Searching for the bones of an ancient Sun shaman, the party makes it way to the bottom of the sinkhole underneath the Kendall arena in Korvosa. Through a submerged tunnel they reach a cave where the stalagmites suddenly come alive. These dangerous underdark creatures are ropers, ambush hunters who lash out with their numbing strands. They surprise Balian, who is scouting the area. The ranger barely survives. Miniatures and scenery are by Dwarven Forge, Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons. The blue battle mat is an Ares games product, from their Sails of Glory line.
