Paizo's adventure module 'The Harrowing' fits as a perfect sidetrek into 'The Curse of the Crimson Throne' adventure path. Looking for the disappeared fortune-teller Zellara, the PCs are drawn into the Harrowed Realm, a demiplane that is bound to the soothsayer’s deck of Harrow cards. The creator of this realm, Sonnorae, was killed long ago and the coins dangling from her ancestral Varisian scarf, her kapenia, were scattered. Once the party members have assembled all the blood coins, they can restore the kapenia to its original beauty. But doing that also has a side-effect: The world’s artificial moon cranks into the sky atop its mechanical arm and jams into place in front of the sun, creating an eclips. These scenery pieces are home-made. If you want to find out what the eclipse leads to, you can go to the campaign journal section of Paizo’s messageboards and look for MrVergee’s Curse of the Crimson Throne.
