The companions make their way into the bowels of the Asmodean crypts, where highpriest Ornher Reebs oversees the production of blood clones for the queen's army. The mixed blood of young innocent girls and lemure devils collects in large vats, where it slowly forms into Gray Maiden clones. A large construct stands in the center of the vats. This hovering statue is an 'akaruzug', who harnesses the fighting prowess of the woman bound to its chest and infuses it in the blood creations, turning them into seasoned warriors. The companions are horrified to recognize their good friend field marshal Cressida Kroft as the crucified victim. Scenery and miniatures are by Dwarven Forge, Reaper, Warhammer, Heroclix and Freebooter. The akaruzug, five-pointed star and blood vats are self-made from scrap and old toys.
